The Spiritual Realm Pt3

So at this point its time to start with the basics of how the spiritual realm works. The realm works on the basis of faith. That is, you get what you believe. Believing works by a promise, followed by hope, followed by your acceptance, followed by activation. Now that requires some explanation.

So first we need to understand ourselves, as human beings. Father, implanted deep in the soul of mankind at creation a compass in the form of a question that must be answered that moves men on a quest. The question is: Does anyone Love me more than they love themselves? There is only One who does, Yeshua the Son, Savior and Messiah. We are created, body, soul and spirit by design to pursue and find that answer. Everything else is secondary.

The Scriptures say that we are made in God’s image. Well God is Spirit, eternal, all powerful, omnipresent, etc. He didn’t get a physical body until Yeshua was born and then it was a human body from Adam. So God Is primarily Spirit. So it follows that our true being is spirit. The way that makes sense to me is at conception two humans, one male and one female mate and the resulting ovum/sperm forms the body of the new human. This physical life is temporal, that is lasts until death, provided by the parents. At this point Father (the Giver of Life) inserts the person, the soul into this newly formed human if His conditions are met. The body must contain 100% human DNA. If its not human DNA or it severely damaged then He isn’t going to put a human soul into it. The result of this is miscarriages and still births. This condition guarantees the continuation of the human species. Father provides the eternal Life to the new human being through the spirit. So we are an eternal soul with an eternal living spirit that is linked to Father’s Spirit encased in a physical human body. The soul is our conscienceness with a spirit that connects us to the spiritual realm and our Father, and a physical body that connects us to our physical father (parents) in the physical realm.

The law of the flow of life is important here. All life flows from the Father to His creation, both physical life and eternal life. Father Created all biological life. Humans put their biological life into their offspring and Father puts the eternal life into all Creations offspring’s that are eternal. Life and death are in God’s hands. All biological life has an end but eternal life goes on forever. The soul of man is man’s essence and can live separately from the body. If the soul/spirit is separated from the body the body dies. In order for us to understand the spiritual realm me must understand reality. We humans think that reality is that which we can touch, taste, see, hear and smell. However, that idea fails when applied to the intangible, like love, hate, peace, chaos, contentment, happiness etc. That too is real. Where does that come from? It comes from our soul/spirit, which fails our physical reality assumption. Father’s definition of Real is that which is eternal, which never dies and goes on forever. The physical will at some point cease to exist. However, the Real realm will go on forever. As humans we have focused on the physical temporary realm not the Real realm. Father assesses everything my the eternal, the realm of the spirit because He is Spirit! Many humans spend their entire lives looking for what is real in the wrong realm. To find the Real we must be born again into the spiritual. This requires a father, which can birth eternal life, thus Father our Creator. Can a baby decide to be born?

So what happens at this rebirth? Father awakens our spirit part of our soul. Its kind of like hooking up to the wifi with our computer. Without the connection you are on your own but once you’ve hooked up then you have access to all the that realm has to offer, the good the bad and the ugly. So after we’ve been again we have to learn everything a physical new born has to learn except its in the spiritual realm. A whole different realm operating by a different set of laws. We are out of our familiar world. This the realm where the Holy Spirit of God reins supreme. Once we have received the Holy Spirit He becomes our teacher by experiences.

We have 5 Real senses, spiritual senses; touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing. Our body likewise has the physical senses. We also have an additional spiritual sense that of intuition. Women seem to have a more sensitive intuition than men. Maybe its just more developed. We have to learn how to use those senses and how to interpret what we sense. In our initial state we are totally dependent on our physical senses and aren’t even aware of our Real senses. Every now and then our body reacts to something our Real senses pick up. As a example, most everyone has had that hair raising experience where something happened and the hair on the back of our neck stands straight up and a chill goes down our spine. Usually its a fearful experience that triggered it. Father is not the author of fear, that comes from the evil side, satan’s kingdom. So what happened there is an evil spirit touched you and your spirit reacted to it. Your soul panicked and it echoed to your body telling it to run. There are other times when you feel a warmth soothing peaceful feeling, often in a situation where genuine love is involved. It can be when you are in a scenic area thinking about God, or praying, or singing or sometimes talking to a good friend or your spouse. Sometimes its intense enough that your body even shakes a little. That is Father’s touch letting you know that you are Loved. All Love comes from Him for He is the definition of Love.

Most believers have experienced something of Father’s presence. Usually a peaceful warm feeling often during ‘praise and worship’. The spiritual sense of vision is what is at work in dreams and visions. It involves the symbolic spiritual language that we must learn if we want to understand what the Lord is saying. This symbolism is what’s on display in John’s Revelations. Spiritual hearing is when Father gives us His thoughts through our spirit to our soul. Taste and smell operate the same way from Him through our spirit to our soul. Our minds are so programmed from the physical realm that we at best recognize an impression of taste or smell. The Scriptures are full of references to the spiritual senses. He is the rose of Sharon. Taste and see that the Lord is Good. My sheep hear My voice and know Me. This last verse uses the word know which has a deeper meaning, intimately. These aren’t just metaphors but invitations to your soul to experience His presence.

We have to learn how to dial down the physical senses so that we can use the spiritual senses to know our Savior and His Father. This is what meditation is about mentioned in the Old Testament. Focusing our soul on Him, by turning down the physical. Just have a conversation with Him. He loves to talk and hear from you. Allow Him to train you and to speak to you. It will be trial and error at first but the rewards are eternal.
