Aug 4 1991- Word of the Lord

The Lord spoke to me about what is coming to this area. "there is rain coming to the area within a month and a half. There will be too much rain to contain. Lafayette is presently under drought spiritually. I have sent My heat. I am drying up the sources of water so that my people will seek Me. Humility and brokenness are the keys to finding my water. I will lead those who respond to the drought with humility and brokenness to springs of water. They will find water and food in the wilderness just like Elijah. Those who look to themselves or man will find dust and will build sand castles with it. Then the rains will come and wash them away. I will send new life to the dry bones in this region to those who seek My face. All that seek Me will find My presence. If they call out to Me I will visit them and set them free. This is My promise to you. I will satisfy the longings of their hearts now in this season. Only those who are planted by the spring will grow to fullness, to maturity and fruitfulness. The existing structures, organizations will become harder to maintain. You must be ready to move, like living in a tent. Man's structures will not last. You must be able to move. What you do not take down voluntarily, I, the Lord, will with flood, fire and storm. I am always moving never stationary so must my children be likewise.

 My requirements for leadership is:

1. Humility - I will speak through whom I choose. The leader must listen to my servants and hear to know My Word. I will speak through My most humble servants. My leaders must be above all others in humility.

2. Self-sacrifice - They must not take anything for themselves, but give all for Me and My people. They are not to save back anything for themselves.

3. Love(Agape) - I will test their love. I will send the unlovely to them to be loved (agaped). If they cannot love and serve the least of the brethren then they do not love me.

4. Devotion - I require undivided devotion. I will test them by removing the possessions and people that they love, to see if they love me more. I will guard their heart with my jealous love. I will not allow them to have other loves. I will be jealous of their other loves.

5. Sacrifice - They must be able to sacrifice their position, what they have built with their hands and last years fruit. I will test these with fire.

These are My requirements for the end time leader. I will raise up anyone who allows Me to build these characteristics into him. No one presently has these characteristics. The church is presently elder less, leaderless.
